For certain equipment rentals, proof of liability insurance might be needed beforehand. This applies to all vehicle rentals. If it does, obtaining a certificate of insurance from your insurance agent is a simple step.

What are your hours of operation?

  • To ensure optimal customer service, Rent-All stores maintain individual business
    hours that cater to the unique schedules of their local communities. Visit our locations page for more information.

What do I need to rent equipment or tools?

  • All renters, DIY or businesses, need a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license accepted) and a credit or debit card for payment. (Vehicle rentals have more specific requirements).
  • For Business users, apply for an account with Rent-All. Simply fill out our credit
    application to start the approval process.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?

  • Vehicle Rentals require a rental deposit along with the following requirements:
    • Standard deposit   |   $100.00 nonrefundable.
  • The vehicle rental must be returned with a full tank of gas.
    • Renter must be 21 years of age
    • Renter must have a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license)
    • Renter must provide Proof of Insurance. (Full Coverage/ Liability)
  • Inflatable rentals require a rental deposit.
    • Applicable at the Storm Lake, IA branch location only. Contact Storm Lake, IA store for more details.

Are there Equipment Rental payment requirements?

  • We require payment for your rental equipment to be made in full when you pick it up.

What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?

  • Rent-All prioritizes your success! To ensure you receive reliable equipment, each piece is thoroughly inspected and serviced before every rental. Should you encounter any issues during your rental period, contact Rent-All’s branch directly and our Rental Associate will troubleshoot the problem, arrange for service, or provide you with a replacement rental to get your project back on track.

Are there certain requirements at different store locations on key rentals?

  • Our Storm Lake, IA branch locations require a 50% deposit (non-refundable) upon
    reservations on inflatables, towable picnic tables, and the dunk tank.

What is the cost of delivery?

  • The delivery charge is calculated based on:
    • Category and class of equipment
    • The location of the rental store location
    • The distance of the project site from the rental store location

How to pick up my tools and equipment rentals?

  • To pick up your rental, you’ll need to present a valid driver’s license that matches the name on the reservation.
  • Upon your arrival, come directly to Rent-All’s counter and our Rental Associate will assist you.
  • At checkout, charges will be applied to the credit or debit card provided at checkout.
  • Vehicle Rentals have special requirements.
  • Our knowledgeable Rental Associates will assist you with loading your equipment rental and provide a quick overview of its operation.

How do I return my tools and equipment?

  • Tools and equipment should be returned by the date and time displayed on the rental contact, to the location where you picked up the equipment. If should remain in the same condition as you picked up the rental, if not, additional fees may apply. Make sure to return any accessories including batteries, cables, or attachments.
  • Upon arrival, come directly to Rent-All’s counter and our Rental Associate will assist you with the return process.

Equipment Pickup and Return Slotted Times:

  • View store hours at your Rental branch location. Pickup and Drop off of equipment is during normal operating hours.

How to apply for Commercial Credit?

  • Simply complete the application process for your convenience. Apply online, in-store, or by downloading the application and completing the document.

Who can apply for Commercial Credit?

  • Rent-All recognizes that growth can happen at any stage. That’s why our Commercial Credit accounts can accommodate businesses of various sizes. Establishing an account can be a valuable tool to fuel your business’s success.

How will I know the status of my application?

  • We understand your time is valuable. In most cases, Rent-All’s business department will contact you in a quick timeframe to aid you in accessing the equipment you need quickly and with confidence.

What are the terms on your rental rates?

  • A half day rental constitutes 4 hours of time.
  • A day provides a customer up to 24 hours with the rental equipment. For equipment
    with hour meters, the customer is allowed up to 8 hours on the meter. If the customer exceeds 8 hours, they will be charged for additional time.
  • A week provides 7 days with the rental item and up to 40 hours on the meter.
  • Our 4-Week rate provides 28 days with the rental item and up to 160 hours on the
    meter.

Am I responsible for fuel used on equipment rentals?

  • Depends on the rental item. For all small equipment with an 8HP motor or less, fuel is included.
  • For larger equipment rentals, with 2 cylinders or more, fuel is an additional cost. You will receive a full tank when you rent the item and the customer is required to refill the tank before returning the rental unit. If the unit is returned without a full tank, a fuel charge will be added to the bill.
